A: A special education advocate will support you as you handle the ups and downs of the special education process.  School alone can be frustrating for all children and their families, but when a student has a disability, the frustration can become overwhelming.  An advocate will guide you through the process and ensure your child is receiving the maximum educational benefit.

A: There are several good advocates in business today and they provide different types of services.  I pride myself in working collaboratively with you and your school to resolve any educational issues.  This means that we work as a team in order to move forward towards a common goal, success for your child.
A: Fees for advocacy services can range from $50 and higher depending on what services are offered and how far the person has to drive.  I believe the initial consultation should be given at no cost and it generally lasts 30 minutes.  Following a determination of services, hourly fees for advocacy services begin at $75 per hour.  Please contact me for questions regarding financial aid.
A: I do not employ a board certified attorney, but can put you in contact with one if necessary.  There are many good attorneys practicing special education law and I will sit down and help you find the one that fits your needs.
A: All you need to do is send me an email or give me a call.  I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
